Alumni make up the biggest part of our Albright family.  This weekend is for you! 

Come back to Albright to celebrate alumni achievements and connect with your classmates.  You can take in an athletic event or live performance.  You might run into some of your former professors.  You will see changes all over campus, but there will be a memory around every corner.  You know you want to come back.  Make your plans now!

Eat Like a Lion!
Enjoy a meal in the dining hall alongside our students during Alumni Weekend.  The discounted alumni price of $9.50 is all-you-can-eat and good for any meal. Dietary accommodations provided at all meals. Pay at the Dining Hall.

Bookstore
The Albright Bookstore will be open on Friday, April 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for your spring shopping convenience!  Also, receive your special 10% alumni discount on all purchases!

Alumni and regional professionals from the arts administration and theatre fields will present a day-long program including panel discussions about how they progressed in their careers, tips about the industry, and lessons they’ve learned along the way. Sun., 4/14 - Presidential Health Walk with Furry Friends

10 a.m., McMillan Student Center, Main Lounge - Pick up water bottles and treats for man’s best friend at registration in McMillan Student Center at 10 a.m. Then travel by car to the Pagoda parking lot and be ready to take-off at 10:30 a.m. Transportation will be provided for students by Public Safety. Walk side-by-side with President Fetrow, her husband, Brian Kell and their dogs, Cody and Jetta, from the Pagoda to Peace Rock, then return back to the Pagoda parking lot. The walk lasts approximately 30 minutes and is for all abilities. Free.

Sun., 4/14 - Legacy, a Faculty & Alumni Showcase, Closing Reception

1-4 p.m., Freedman Gallery - Dr. Richard Hamwi’s career as an artist and educator has spanned more than 30 years. At Albright, his influence has been felt by many students in drawing, watercolor and collage classes. This exhibit celebrates those influences by pairing Hamwi’s recent work completed during his fall 2018 sabbatical with work by three alumni — Adrienne (Lastoskie) Brendlinger ’07, Raymond Reyes ’16, and Madison VanDuren ’18, — whose continuing artistic practices draw from lessons learned under Hawmi’s tutelage. Sun., 4/14- Fragile Beauty, Contemporary Glassworks, Closing Reception

1-4 p.m., Freedman Gallery - Artist, glassblower, and successful businessman, Will Dexter, has been making and selling world-acclaimed glassworks out of his studio, Taylor Backes, in Boyertown, Pa., for nearly three decades. Dexter’s work is sought after by high-end collectors and corporations, while dozens of apprentices have sought him out for his skill and expertise. For the Freedman, he is envisioning an immersive multi-sensory installation that will challenge and delight the artist, and audience, alike. Free.

Thurs., April 11 at 12 p.m. – Sat., April 13 at 6 p.m., Sylvan Pond - The brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity will host their 13th Annual Pondathon philanthropy event which will benefit the Humane Society of Berks County over the course of Alumni Weekend. Alumni brothers are invited to visit the pond during the 54 consecutive hour event and meet some of the current undergraduate brothers.
