“Romeo and Juliet” a video-storybook adaptation from the play by William Shakespeare, directed by Dahlia Al-Habieli, visiting professor of theatre
Albright’s fast-paced, abbreviated version of this classic love story foretells what happens when we let hate overpower love. It is also a timely celebration of the miraculous ways young people persevere to find and love each other in a divisive world. In lieu of a live theatre production, Albright students have created a video-storybook adaptation of the play in order to bring the visual world of the story to life. The storybook will premiere as four episodes, from April 15 through 18. At the conclusion of the weekend performances, the full film will be uploaded to the “Albright College Center for the Arts” YouTube channel. View each episode on the Albright College Theatre YouTube channel.
